Just recently she has developed some “leash aggression”. She has learned this from our other dog. I’m confident with some training she can be trained out of this. (Leash aggression meaning she gets aggressive towards other dogs when she’s on the leash. If she meets them off leash she’s fine. She goes to day care and the dog park and gets along great with other dogs).
Supplies Offered With Pet: Cage, bowls, food, leash, collar, treats, anything you need

ALL ABOUT Freya – Pitbull/Terrior Mix Dog For Adoption Scottsdale AZ
5 Good Reasons To Adopt This Pitbull/Terrior mix dog in Scottsdale AZ
She’s very, very sweet
She’s great with our kids
She loves to play
She listens when given a command (waits for food until given permission to eat, goes to her bed on command, sit, stay, etc.
She’s a great walker
Freya is an EXTREMELY sweet dog. She absolutely loves people and playing with other dogs. She loves our son like he’s her own. There is nothing our son can do to her to make her angry. She loves to play, cuddle and go for walks. (She’s a great walker!) She is skittish around new people but quickly warms up to them if they just ignore her. Give her about a half hour and she’s cuddled up to the new person.
Freya’s Favorite Activites / Toys / Treats
Freya loves your usual dog toys and treats. She likes to play keep away or be chased. (This doesn’t work for our other dog who is a lazy old man!)
Current Home Environment
We have an 8 year old dog, Odin, Freya who is 4, and our human babies who are 2 and 6 months. Things are rather crazy at our house and Freya is not getting the love and attention she needs and deserves.
Reasons For Placing Freya For Adoption
We currently have 2 kids under 2. I can’t handle the stroller plus 2 big dogs (our other dog is a 120lb Rottweiler) on the walk so I’m having to go for 2 long walks every day. I don’t have the time or energy for Freya that she needs. My other dog is an old man who pretty much keeps to himself. I love Freya and wish more than anything I could make it work but I know she deserves better.
Ideal New Home Situation For Freya
I want a family who can give Freya the time and energy that she deserves. Kids would be great but another dog would be even better. Freya feels most comfortable around other dogs. I want her to get lots and lots of love and attention. This is literally going to be one of the hardest things I’ll ever have to do so I have to know that she is going somewhere where she’ll be very loved and better off.
It would be great to stay in touch. The thought of never seeing her again is heart wrenching. We love her so much but know we aren’t giving her the life she deserves and the guilt is wearing on us. Some family is going to get very lucky to have her. She really is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet.
