Meet Fate, Schipperke Mix Dog For Adoption in Los Angeles CALIFORNIA
Fate is a 4 year old male Schipperke mix dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Los Angeles CALIFORNIA. This very special dog weighs 9 pounds, and is healthy, fixed and house broken.
Fate was found by his foster mom, Diana. He was running around loose on a busy street and narrowly escaped being hit by several cars. She has given him a loving home for the past 6 months, and has tried, without success, to locate his original owner.
Fate is a very special little guy. He is shy when he first meets you, but very loving and cuddly once he knows he is safe with you. As much as his foster Mom would love to keep him forever, her building does not allow pets, and she is running the risk of eviction with every day that goes by. She is dearly hoping to find Fate a loving home as soon as possible – even if it is a temporary foster home until a permanent home can be found.
Fate would be best suited for a quiet home with a strong routine to make him feel safe. He is probably not suited for homes with small children, but does well with other dogs and cats. He would shine in a home with a retired dog lover with all the time in the world for him.
Please offer this demure little Schipperke mix dog the loving home he needs and deserves today. He can’t wait to snuggle with you!
There is a $75 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included.

Fate’s Current Home Environment
Moved on 08/02/17, previous apartment was uninhabitable, and no pets were allowed. Moved to apartment where building is not okay with barking. Difficult to get Fate acclimated in new apartment, while have to work. The present place we moved in has not agreed to sign a lease yet, since they heard him barking one time when we were trying out crate training.
It is a new environment and he was scared. I’ve had a couple of clients take him in since July, but, I cannot find a foster. One of my clients cannot help anymore and he is traveling to CT this weekend. I live with my 18 year old son and my kitty. The concern is that we all won’t have a place to stay.
Fate’s Current Family:
I’m a doggie walker, created own company since 2012. I’m also a Yoga and Meditation Instructor and Reiki Master. My son just graduated from high school and works at a movie theater. He is my heart and soul. A very good boy. My kitty, I rescued from a home that had two large doggies that attacked her. Her name is Cleopatra, she’s my bestest friend. I have a betta fish named Shiva, a sprite fellow. Love them all dearly.
Fate’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Walking, nylon bones, ball.
Cute Fate Story:
Fate ran in front of my car in a busy four way stop sign intersection by an elementary school on 01/25/17. He almost got hit a few times before I caught him, and even a sheriff’s vehicle was going to run him over, until I got out of my car to stop it from happening.
I took him in for last 6 months. Was able to hide him in a no pets apartment. However, since 06/16/17, when apartment became uninhabitable, we were also told we couldn’t have pets in our former building and that neighbors didn’t like me having a doggie. We’ve checked for microchip, search neighborhood he was found in, asked people if they knew him, checked online in all possible avenues, posted on lostdoggie.com and Craigslist. Cannot afford vet care and food. Would love to find him a secure home.
Why is Fate Being Rehomed?
We are concerned that we all won’t have a home.
Fate’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Finding his original owner. Or a loving, patient, and compassionate home. Avoiding him going to s shelter.
I can offer walking him.
