Australian Shepherd For Adoption in Richmond BC – Russell’s Bark Story

The Heartwarming Journey of Russell, the Australian Shepherd

Cute russell, an australian shepherd for adoption in richmond, bcAbout Me (Current and History):
Hi, I’m Russell, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd with a heart as big as the great outdoors of Richmond, BC. I’m a handsome, spayed male with a love for life and a passion for cuddles. My journey’s been filled with joy, laughter, and a lot of snuggling on the couch.

Why Am I Looking For a New Home?
Life is an adventure, full of changes. My loving family’s lifestyle is shifting towards travel, making it hard to provide me and my canine sibling the care we need. As hard as it is, they believe I deserve a home where I can be the star of the show and receive all the attention and exercise I crave.

My Details:

  • Age: 6 years young
  • Spayed/Neutered: Yes, I am!
  • Health Status: No health problems here!
  • Behavior Issues: None, just a bundle of love
  • Vaccinations: All up to date
  • House Broken: Absolutely
  • Crate Trained: Nope, I prefer freedom

Russell’s Personality:
I’m the ultimate snuggler and lover of belly rubs. Excitement is my middle name, and I adore greeting everyone with my cheerful bark. Learning new tricks? Count me in! My family says I’m a super snuggler and a constant source of love and laughter.

5 Amazing Things About Me:

  1. Snuggle champion.
  2. Unconditional love and affection.
  3. The best greeter at the door.
  4. Hilarious back-scratch antics.
  5. Champion of staring contests.

My Favorite Things: Chew toys are my jam, especially those tough rope toys and squeaky ones that can handle my strong teeth. I’m not much for bones, though.

Dang! That asphalt feels sooooo good!

A Cute Russell Story:
On our walks, I love to plop down on my back for a surprise street-side back scratch. It’s quite a sight and brings smiles to everyone who passes by!

Why I’m Being Rehomed:
My family, unfortunately, can’t juggle two active dogs with their travel plans. They love me dearly but know I need a home where I can be the center of attention and get the exercise and love I need.

My Dream Home and Family:
I’m looking for a pet-free, small child-free home (older kids are great, though!). Someone strong enough to handle my enthusiastic walks and eager to give me plenty of exercise. Most importantly, a loving, forever home where I can thrive.

I know there’s a perfect family out there for me. A family that will cherish my love, laugh at my quirks, and give me the life full of love and excitement I dream of. Will you be the one to open your heart and home to me?
